V, it was a great day & I was humbled to be in the presence of some great people.  Really good showing of Coastie Veterans; we swapped stories and shared a good day.   After the day’s event, we migrated over to Chinatown and had a few pints of ale.  Bill Wells hosted a hospitality event and recognized some of the Veterans in attendance.

The group will be heading over to Arlington in the morning for the wreath laying ceremony.

Thanks so very much Tim for sharing those photos with us and for representing the USCG.  We were all with you in spirit, I can tell you that.

Hi There boys and girls. Who is that fat old guy with the gray hair and cane?  Was I supposed to bring a camera? Oh damn.
Good thing I ran into LT GUNNER Tim.

I have a problem and we are trying to fix it.  The only way I can get here is by clicking on Ron's link at the other site and coming in the back door. I have been locked out for a couple of weeks now but I have some help and should get fixed soon.

Master Chief Wells did a great job. I am humbled by the experience.

I marched for all of you that could not come to DC

Thank you for Your Service

Mike,

Just want to thank you and the others that could make it there to represent all of us.

Hopefully I can get there myself one of these days.

I haven't had time to get the name/number match-up from Chief Wells yet; will work on it.  Or, the Chief could post the directory.  Thank you all for representing us.

The Smithsonian Presents

This is an outstanding five part video presentation
by the Smithsonian Channel about 50 minutes in
total length and well worth your time to view it.
