Got an email from a CAF squadronmate of mine in Dallas tonight, thought you might be interested. Seems he aquired an L-19 last summer from overseas and plans on putting it back in the air as an Army Bird-dog... It's spent the last few years as a gate guard in Luxemburg at some little airpatch, but it's restorable... Target date for public unveiling is Sep 09 and aside from needing a few minor things (main spar replacement, engine OH, engine mounts, firewall, avionics, etc) he asked me to be the paint guy... Thought you might have some input for a particular bird.. Tail-numbers, special markings, etc..
