I never was an FS, but I played cook the last time I went to Governors Island for some training. They put three or four of us Warrants in an old barracks along with a couple of Cadets. Instead of buying the ready to eat garbage, we made use of the small galley in the barracks & shopped the commissary. I baked bread & fixed things like leg of lamb, leek & potato soup, &c.
When we invited the Cadets to join us for dinner, we found out a bit about what they were being taught about Warrants  .  .  .       Scary!

I don't care what the Bos'n told you, you are NOT authorized to recruit a 17 year old Filipina as your personal TN.

Chef Randy,

It's a new board.     May I suggest that you try whipping up something special, and let the aroma drift over the entire board.

May not entice many FS, but you will surely have a mob of drooling faces, outside the galley.
