"Decreased data entry" my ass.  Talk about shooting ourselves in the foot.  PeopleSoft was a pain to learn, had virtually no support and took a few years to work the bugs out of.  Now that it works well and everyone knows how to use it, they shoot us this unguided missle.

MRRS has huge potential at first glance.  Take another look.  Are your HIV draws (which used to be requested and reported via HMS Loader) getting updated in CG Central off of the feed from MRRS?  Hell no!  Are the vaccinations that were entered in PS accurately being fed into MRRS?  Hell no!  And are those immunizations causing problems for the commands you service from *******s who already second guess their every move?  You bet.  Who gets to work out all the bugs and do the corrective data entry?  We do.

I feel bad for that OinC who relies on us to keep this **** straight for him/her.  They are the ones that get angry phone calls from some jerk off at their Sector telling them how poorly their "numbers" reflect on the entire Sector.

I look forward to the next two or so years learning how to make this work.  By that time, we'll probably move onto something else.

I actually like MRRS.  I just wish that they would combine MRRS and DENCAS, so that we could kill that second program.   I heard a rumor that there is a plan to integrate the OMSEP program onto MRRS as well.

My big malfunction is with the PGUI program.  I am having some major issues getting it down.
