BAGHDAD:  Largest Reelistment In U.S. Military
History, 1,215 Troops Reenlist On July 4th, 2008.

You've heard in our liberal media how our troops are discouraged, depressed and everyone wants to withdraw to come home or get out.  Maybe that is why the liberal media failed to report in any substancial manner the largest troop reenlistment in U.S. Military history.  It took place on the 4th of July, 2008 at the Al Faw Palace, Baghdad, Iraq.  General Petraeus officiated over the ceremony in which 1,215 soldiers reenlisted.

General David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, bottom middle photo, re-enlists U.S. military service members during a mass re-enlistment ceremony in Baghdad, Iraq, Friday, July 4, 2008. 1215 service members re-enlisted Friday during an Independence Day ceremony at al-Faw palace at Camp Victory.

Isn't it interesting that the only thing carried in the press was  THIS ARTICLE by the Chicago Tribune on how a Chicago pizzeria donated 2000 pizzas that were made (frozen), shipped on Sunday, arrived in Baghdad and were distributed to a number of bases and camps in the area to celebrate the 4th of July.

Thanks Stan Robbins (EX-CG-GM) for putting me on this story.... Buoy
