Whoa, just noticed the horizon in this picture  Shocked Shocked; centrifugal force is a wonderful thing.  Here's to you and what you do

Vee ...  Hammer  You really didn't have to point that out.

Just looking at that photo makes me whoozie.  I can't stand heights.  I don't know how anyone could live in a high-rise apartment or work in something like the Sears tower in Chicago.  Don't mind flying in an airliner but standing there with the ramp door down and the plane on a 36 degree bank ... not me ain't never gonna happen.  That's why I'm a sailor not a flier.

Kyle ....... better you than me bro, here's to you and all of our airdales ......

Whenever we stay in a hotel room, the first thing I always do is go open the drapes and look out.

We were in Chicago in 2001 for a UT/Notre Dame football game and all of us stayed at the Marriott in downtown Chicago.

Walked in the room - through open the drapes...floor to ceiling windows...we were 36 floors up.....I didn't go near the window the next 5 days! Shocked Shocked

I wouldn't (couldn't) have stayed in the room.  Undecided Probably couldn't have made it that far up on the elevator.

I remember once going to a high-rise downtown to get some documents. The elevator opened up so the first thing one saw was a large window looking over the city. I fainted.

I take it that taking a glass elevator up the side of a building isn't your cup o' tea either?  :goofydance: :goofydance:

The hotel had a glass elevator....I stood just inside the doors and faced forward the whole time.
I'm not fond of elevators either....they are small spaces and get stuck!
