As a retired plank owner of PSU-312, I have mixed emotions, as my ship mates deploy on the mission that we trained together for.  I wish that I could be with them, I still reconize many of the faces in the pictures, and count them as firends.

to Kuwait to relieve PSU-301

SAN FRANCISCO — Members of Port Security Unit 312 above left, stationed in San Francisco, stand in formation behind Vice Adm. Jody Breckinridge, Commander of Coast Guard Pacific Area, prior to their departure from Air Station San Francisco on the first leg of their deployment to the Middle East, Jan. 5, 2010. PSU 312, consisting of more than a hundred reservists and less than a dozen active duty members, will be replacing PSU 301, stationed in Cape Cod, and will provide support for high value assets in the region.
