OK, now they have REALLY gone too far!  I ahve a couple TV shows I watch on Tuesdays and they won't be on this coming week because they have been bumped by hours and hours of election coverage.

It ain't a prize fight!  I don't need blow to blow action!  I'll read about it in the paper the next day!

One reason I don't like it is that it can actually skew the results.  They start broadcasting that info too early and some will decide there is no sense to vote because it looks like in the early results their candidate lost.

Not as big a deal when you are talking state and local elections but really big when it is national elections with the time difference between the east and west coast.

I hear ya Stan.  As much as I avoid getting into political (or religious) discussions online, believe it or not, I'm a political junky.  I'll sit and watch that crap all night long.   Bang head against wall

Stan...
Now there is where I'm different,  if I hear my voting choices are getting behind in the count it encourages me to make sure I do go vote.

I not only believe voting is a right of every American citizen... but I consider a privilege and an honor to live in a country where you elect your government.

Even though our voting system is plagued with corruption... illegals voting, dead voting, ballot manipulation, people paid to vote through bribery... housed in the down-trodden in our society.

In my opinion the political party in their corruption are the very core of what is wrong with our voting systems.

Every state is influenced by the people in power. They are also influenced by their parties political associations, leaving them with an opportunity to control the voting apparatus to a large degree.

Money and power is the driving force that draws the normal politician into the political arena, with benefits guaranteeing a lifetime security blanket to everyone if a successful enough politician.

And remember there is no honor among liars and thieves nor is honor founded among politicians anymore.
Years gone by... yes, but like bartering an agreement agreed upon with a handshake... this has died with our honor as well.

In my lifetime I cannot remember a more devious power group as we have controlling the houses of government today.

I cannot remember a government so bent on destroying the very foundations of this country in the disguise of change... as this one.
Is it they just don't know any better or do they have an end goal?
I have never seen a government in the past that had so many extremists as this one has brought into its fold by this administration.

One of the lessons I learned from my father, who although was quick to judge and not very political... "when it comes to political philosophies... when you have something that works and works well... leave it alone... as the possible consequences can be devastating and irreversible."

Well, now it's time for the people to start taking their country back and the first opportunity will be just three days away.
Whether you're an independent or a Democrat or a Republican you must decide just where you stand because your future and that of your children and their children may be in the bartering chip with your vote.

1 day to go and no more counting - tomorrow is the wake up...................

To quote again Sir Winston Churchill, from his famous House of Commons speech Nov. 10, 1942;
"Now this is not the end.  It is not even the beginning of the end.  But it is, perhaps the end of the beginning."

Then the next day at the House of Commons he said;
" I am certainly not one of those who need to be prodded.  In fact, if anything, I am a prod."

Some will get their wish tomorrow, some won't - but get out and VOTE
