Something nobody but Admin sees is that the last couple of months we have been deluged with spammers trying to gain membership here.  It's gotten so bad that instead of a new member automatically defaulting to member status, the applicant has to be vetted by Admin to join (a review of profile).  We really hope that this process doesn't exclude anyone with a desire to contribute, but trust me, without this we would have been destroyed.  If you know of anybody or are somebody that has been accidentally excluded, write an Admin a PM and the problem will be immediately corrected.

It appears something similar is happening on Facebook.  Lately I have been receiving 'friend' requests from nude, or nearly nude, shapely young women.  The request includes a 'link' to their personal page.

Yeah, I'm gonna fall for that!   Hammer

On the other hand, they are REALLY good looking......

Well on Facebook, I have had many friend requests from nice looking young ladies.  You see, my profile picture is a golf shot of myself, my daughter, and my son taken a few years ago.  And since I'm a Sr. and my son is a Jr. - many of these lovelies are looking to reconnect with HIM.  He had something of a rep. growing up as a "player". LOL.  Oh yeah - he's not on facebook so they search by name, get me, see the picture and think it's him!

Alas - I'm honest and reply back that I'm the father not the son.  LOL... However, a few have friended me anyway... pity I guess.. LOL

What it means Stan - is I have to research the pretty ladies a little to make sure their not trying to get hold of him before I decide it's a spam issue or not!
