The South shall rise again!
Don't be so suprised about hockey in the south, we all got to have some place to run to on those hot sultry summer days, and Ice rinks are a great place to hide out for a couple of hours  ROTF

Way to go Pelham Panthers-BEAT CANADA.

Coastie Doll a round of Soda's for the team. and yes put them in a frosted mug

To bad this won't be reported on ESPN, this is the kind of news that could uplift folks.

Thanks captjamie; I know one of the local sportscasters here from the local Fox News.  In his spare time he works with kids sports, coaching, and one of his sons is in my grandson's Sunday School class.  He has got the information and says that he will set up a local interview with the team at the arena, once the weather clears and they have a truck available - not doing road conditions coverage, and Auburn Football coverage.

Well finally got the team picture taken after medal presentation - Reid is in front of coach in the red Alabama jersey, [all you can see is his head]; guess their new 2011 uniforms were lucky green.

Well here we go again.

The wife and I get back from our trip to Hawaii last Friday, and that afternoon the grandson is off to another hockey tournament, Big Bear League - Gasoline Alley Tournament in Indianapolis.  Daughter just called while on the way home -
The Pelham Panthers Won Again
That makes three tournament wins in a row - Huntsville, Canada, now Indianapolis.

Is this grandpa proud --- Hell YES

Drinks in the Porpoise Club on me for the day......................................
