Since we were all over the country, our cooks would get a lot of the fresh stuff locally.  I don't drink milk, so I can't comment on that    What I do remember though is luke warm Tang when the ice machine was broken  , and that formaldehyde laced crap they called beer (good thing we carried our own San Miguel  , and the local 33 wasn't too bad either  )

I remember when you poured the local tiger beer over ice the gravel sunk to the bottom.  But it was better than no beer at all.

In Cat Lo I actually remember pouring 33 over ice cubes that had flies frozen in them
