I am sorry, he will be sorely missed.

Your Father was a great man, someone like others that keep this place going.

I know there is no way to take the pain away and I wont even try to.

It does bring back memories of my father and how he died.

If there is anything I can do please contact me via PM.

He is a great man and I respect him very much.

I am not alone in saying that he will not be forgotten and that this hurts very much.

I am very happy that we had this time with him and am honored to have had him in our staff as well as a friend.

From now on, every time I eat a boiled peanut, I will think of Slam Trak.
It was an honor to be a cyber friend with him.
His humor will be surely missed.

Well, I'm utterly sad about my dear, sweetie friend, Slammie Poo.  This is Goldie (Lynne) posting using my husband's account.

To Slam's beloved boys:

Your dad talked about you so much that I feel like there are many of us who already know you.  My heart grieves for you and your Mom and Slam's many friends there in Mechanicsville.  God Bless You all and comfort you.  I can't even conceive of the depth of your loss considering the depth of the loss so so many of us feel who loved your Dad.

It's hard for me to express myself here like I want to do.  I found out at 2 a.m. this morning and I've been up and handing my Bobbers kleenexes ever since.

We loved your Dad, Boys.  He was a sweetie pie and always, nearly every day, brightened my world with laughter or tenderness and/or hope and had a heart of service and love for others that shined so very brightly for the world to see.

There is a hole in our life for so many of us now.  One that cannot be filled.  There are a group of us that will try to carry on your Dad's mission of service to others, feebly and steadfastly, as best we can.

We would appreciate all details because we would like to write your Mom and send flowers on behalf of so many of us who loved your Dad dearly.

He was my steadfast friend.  He was a joy to so many.  Ornery and funny and loving and cute as a button !!!  We talked on the phone a few times and he truly blessed so many of us here.  I can't even conceive of the loss in your home, family and community.

I must confess there is a part of me that is upset because Slammie Poo was such a blessing and this world needs our Slammie Poos to lift us up, to bring us giggles, to build our hopes.  He has gone too soon for this world and it's a great, gaping loss to all of us.

Bob and my and many others' prayers are with you there.  Please give your Mom a tender hug from me.  He loved her so.  He loved you so.  He loved all of us so very much.

God Bless Slammie Poo, trusted friend and joyful soul.

From the heart,

GOLDIE (Lynne)

I am still in shock as well. Never saw slam issue a harsh word, he was probably one of the most gentle spirtits around. This place and us posters will miss him greatly. He spoke of you kids highly, God rest his soul! A good friends has just been lost, but he was a believer so life aint over for him, it's just beginning! Flag Salute
