Okay, bear with me on this story: Four years ago, on my way home from work, this guy in a Dodge pickup makes a left turn onto the street right in front of me. Of course I have the right of way, 'cus I'm on the road, and he's the one turning. I slam on the brakes to avoid a collision, and do a U-Turn to see what's up with that. He pulls over, I stop behind him. I can see that in the truck bed was firewood, he was probably going to a beach party. His female passenger remains in the truck, he steps out to confront me. I ask "What's up with that? I almost hit you!" He checks out my license plate (veteran plates, I like to support the vets) and says, "Army, huh? I'm Coast Guard! I'll **** you up!" as he pulls out a dagger. To avoid getting sliced up, I say, "Yeah, whatever man" and got back into my car. Got the liense plate and truck type, went straight to the PD to file a report. Four months later, I get a court summons to attend his trial. The cops investigated my report, and it was enough that he pulled a dagger on me. I ran his name in the mil.com buddy finder, and the f*cker's name isn't even listed in DoD or mil.com member!

A Big Hello To All!

Just wondered over from the other place, I hope all are doing well! Seems like this may be a great place if we can all stay "Friendly"
I hope there are not a lot of folks complaining and degrading the CG.

I am currently stationed in AK, Love it , the beauty is beyond words, Like living in a "Discovery Channel" special every day!

Things should pick up here soon.  The way milcom is being run people will be looking for a new place to have an adult conversation.  Most of the threads over there now are people complaining.  Then there are threads on people complaining about the people complaining and then the moderators are suspending and warning people by the boatload.  I'll try comong here more often.  Perhaps there are adults on this board.

Guys, like I said, if you see anything you want to add to this section or the board, lemme know. We have everything here, and if we don't, and it's pertinent, we can add it. I can also do miracles to the CG section. We're growing and many ideas have been floated. We aren't corporate like military.com and I will never sell OUT to those fools. We are a military-supporting organization built BY military and military-supporters.

  C'mon over Hooligan, we'd love to have you.  I'll throw out the same message I did to everyone else; don't just hang around the CG page, go to USO Club, introduce yourself, grab a cold one and check out the rest of the board.  When you feel like bantering with Coasties, come here, but there's a lot more stuff going on at USMILNET.  No, I don't get a comission for recruiting, just happy to see some other Coasties here.
