CAMBRIDGE, ENGLAND:  The American Military Cemetery at Cambridge is a horticulturally rich and architecturally
significant memorial to the men and women from the United States who, during World War II, died to protect the
British Isles from Nazi attacks while also launching a return offensive. Above a statue representing a World War II
Coast Guardsman stands eternal watch as he looks out towards the chapel. After the war, it was selected as the
only American World War II Military cemetery in the British Isles.

I have written a complete story on the Blackthorn Tragedy called "Terror
Came In the Night".  If anyone would like a copy PM me with you name and
address and I will send you a copy snail mail or I have it in JPG format and I
can email it a few pages at a time. Blackthorn was a sister ship to my ship
the CGC Mesquite and to vftb and Ex-CG-GM's ship the CGC Blackhaw.
