Sorry for my absence from the pages for a while. I received notification of my pending deployment a while back and have been readying my personal affairs and packing. I did not know where at first and assumed Iraq.  I was told Sunday at my reserve meeting, that I am going to Ft. Lewis WA.  Go figure???  Anyway whatever, whereever the Army needs me. I will still go and proudly serve. I have been told it is a minimum of 400 days. I have been told I will be working in my advance medical skill as a surgical tech in the hospital at Ft. Lewis.  I do hope to enjoy the area and meet some new friends there. You and all of yours have a Merry Christmas too and a healthy and Happy New Year!!  I leave out after the first of the New Year.  Again Merry Christmas to you all and God bless you every one. Thanks for being online friends. Maybe some one will contiue the bikini post while I am gone ?

I got my orders..I was a bit surprised and not in a good way. Yes I am going to Ft Lewis by way of Florida. I go to FL for a few days and report to the unit I am being attached to. Then we leave for Ft. Lewis. We will be there a few weeks to brush up on some skills. Then it is across the big pond and off to the old sand box for us in support of Operation Enduring Freedom other than homeland.
All I told here is unclassified but I won't go into any details such as dates, times and specific places due OPSEC.

Earlier this week Russian airline Avianova aired this commercial, which shows a team of bikini-clad flight attendants washing an airplane while a gaggle of men watch, and caused quite a controversy.

The Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph reported that Secretary of the Flight Attendants Association of Australia Jo-Ann Davidson said ads like this "put flight attendants at risk."
